In the past, when I was in middle school or high school, I used to talk with friends about our favorite singers or idols, other friends, school teachers, and after-school academies.

But these days, since everyone is working and has a job, we seem to talk about money.

Things like how to save money, and how to buy a house, for example.

But we’re still very close friends. It’s been almost eight years now.

She is very good at taking care of herself and she looks like a model.

Most importantly, I feel comfortable with her because we empathize with and respond to each other in similar ways.

     About how much time do you spend on chatting?

I prefer meeting in person rather than communicating through my phone.

Of course, phone calls are better than texts or messages,

But I can’t read facial expressions or non-verbal cues over the phone, right?

Incomplete communication often happens that way, like misunderstanding each other.

So I prefer meeting and talking face-to-face.

Sometimes, I use video calls as well.

Why do those things interest or concern you?

I usually talk with friends or family about Travel (destinations) like where to go, how long we go, etc(엑세데라).

We all enjoy traveling, so discussing places we want to visit and planning trips is exciting for us.

We also share and listen to each other’s current concerns, empathizing with each other's feelings.

It’s nothing special, but I like how sharing worries seems to lighten the load.
